Tips for attending Classes and Labs
All classes and labs are delivered using Zoom. The following guidelines have been provided to enhance your class experience and ensure the call environment is kept clear and functional for all participants.
Plan Ahead
- Test your Zoom connection, camera, and microphone
- Set up your Zoom so that it shows your name
- Find a space that is quiet and has minimal distractions
- Join the session 5–10 minutes early to allow time for any technical issues.
During the Call
- Keep your camera on
- Mute your microphone when you are not speaking.
- Avoid multitasking
- If you lose connection, just rejoin using the zoom link
Code of Conduct
- Respect different perspectives
- Treat all participants with respect and courtesy
- Maintain confidentiality (do not record or screen shot the session)
