Most ICA students graduate with the designation of CPC - Certified
Professional Coach. This then offers a direct pathway to an ICF
Credential such as ACC or PCC. The ICF offer 3 pathways to apply for a
designation; portfolio, ACSTH or ACTP. We would not recommend the
portfolio pathway because it can be costly and time consuming (with the
outcome not assured). We do recommend the ACSTH and ACTP pathways and
for that reason, our programs are designed to feed directly into those
credential applications.
Pathway towards an ACC Credential (Associate Certified Coach)
- ACTP Pathway: Recommended for graduates of ICA's Certified or Advanced programs
- ACSTH Pathway: Recommended for graduates of ICA's Vocational Program
- Portfolio Pathway: Least preferred pathway, due to time and cost investment

Pathway towards an PCC Credential (Professional Certified Coach)
- ACTP Pathway: Recommended for graduates of ICA's Certified or Advanced programs
- ACSTH Pathway: Vocational Graduates would need to complete further ACSTH Training (available as an upgrade to Certified program)
- Portfolio Pathway: Least preferred pathway, due to time and cost investment
