Overview
As an ICA student, you have 24/7 access to the Academic Calendar through the ICA Learnsite.
The schedule is designed to support students across multiple time zones, with a range of morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend study options available throughout the week. Every class, lab, and live session you are required to attend will be published in the Academic Calendar and made available to all active students.
-
Why the Calendar Cannot Be Downloaded
The Academic Calendar is only available within the ICA Learnsite and cannot be downloaded to a personal computer, tablet, or mobile device. There are two important reasons for this:
- To Ensure You Always Have the Latest Information.
As soon as you download the calendar, and take it out of the academic space, it is no longer able to be updated with additions or changes (such as change of faculty, change of zoom link, additional classes, rescheduled classes).
- To Protect Member-Only Content
The Academic Calendar is part of your ICA program membership and is available exclusively to active students. Allowing downloads would remove the calendar from the secure learning environment and make member-only information publicly accessible. Keeping the calendar online helps protect the integrity of the student learning experience.
Accessing the Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendar is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the ICA Learnsite for all active students. We recommend checking the calendar regularly to ensure you have the most current information before attending any class or lab.
How Scheduling Decisions Are Made
ICA develops and adjusts the schedule based on several factors to provide the best possible learning experience for students worldwide. Scheduling considerations include:
- Student locations and time zones
- Historical and current attendance trends
- Student progression and milestone data (for example, new students versus students nearing completion)
- Faculty availability
- Program and course requirements
