Mentor Coaching is progressive learning and takes place over a period of time (at least 3 months) in a cycle that allows for listening and feedback from a mentor coach to be incorporated into each future session.  


The 'start'  date can be any mentoring session (as participant or coach)

The 'end'  date can be any mentoring session (as participant or coach)


** This is not negotiable so please do not ask support to reduce the 3 month timeframe.


The following example meets this requirement.


Fred joins his first mentoring lab on the 1st January 2025.  He joins as a participant so he can get an idea about what happens in a mentoring session, and benefits from listening to the coaching and feedback of others.  Fred then jumps into Mentor Coaching as a Coach around mid February. He then completes all remaining sessions with the last session, where he was a coach, on the 2nd April. 


First Session: 1st January (as participant)

Last Session: 2nd April (as coach)

Time between sessions: 3 months


The following example does NOT meet this requirement.


Jordan joins their first mentoring lab on the 1st January 2025.  They join as a participant so they can get an idea about what happens in a mentoring session, and benefit from listening to the coaching and feedback of others.  Jordan then jumps into Mentor Coaching as a Coach around mid February and has their last mentoring session as coach on the 25th March. 


First Session: 1st January 2025 (as participant)

Last Session: 25th March (as coach)
Time between sessions: under 3 months
